Adam Graham ~ Wood Turner
Adam Graham lives in Summerland, BC with his wife, Tanya and son, Duncan. Although he doesn't call himself an artist he enjoys turning wood to create beautiful bowls and vessels. Gathering most of his wood locally, he is the first to notice when a neighbour cuts down a tree. He is always curious what will become of the wood and if there is a possibility that he can get his hands on some. He loves that he can’t predict the final result or how the grain will present itself on a completed piece. Sometimes the process of turning results in only wooden crumbs and sawdust, but when his patience is rewarded with a finished piece the results are stunning. A humble man, he credits the tree for the beauty of his creations.
For work, Adam runs a company in Penticton called Casmet Supply Limited. It was the owner of this business who introduced Adam to wood turning in 2009. Adam enjoys playing on the squash court, hiking in the hills and dabbling in photography. What else is possible? Adam is also an Access Bars® Practitioner and offers his healing capacities during group sessions!
